Ashley's win was a dominant one, leading from start to finish and clocking in at 3.745 seconds at 329.34 miles per hour in his Sc Power Equipment/Toyota dragster, earning him his 14th career win. Ashley's path to victory included defeating Billy Torrence, Tony Stewart, and Josh Hart to reach the final round, where he claimed his first-ever
Top Fuel win at Brainerd and his first victory since April. With this win, Ashley moved up to third place in the points standings and demonstrated impressive consistency throughout eliminations, with all four runs between 3.74 and 3.76 seconds.
