Tony Stewart and Clay Millican face off in the final round top fuel of the Winter National in Pomona.
Millican finished his run in 4.273 seconds at a speed of 189.71 mph, with an engine explosion occurring at the finish line, whereas Stewart faced tire smoke almost right away in the finals.
Millican, who overcame Shawn Reed, Jasmine Salinas, and top qualifier Brittany Force to advance to the final round, and first in 2025
Stewart advanced to the final round for the third time in his career and the first time this season after overcoming reigning world champion Antron Brown, Doug Kalitta, and points leader Shawn Langdon.
FUNNY CAR
In Funny Car Eliminations, Beckman secured John Force Racing's 300th victory by defeating Daniel Wilkerson in the round, which is also JFR's home track.
This marks Beckman's 38th career win. After taking the driver's seat from John Force after last year's crash, he has won the last two races in Pomona.
PRO STOCK
It is the first time since 1980 that two drivers have met in four straight Pro-Stock elimination finals.
Greg Anderson seems unstoppable in Pro Stock,
Anderson set a track record in the final round against his teammate Dallas Glenn with an impressive run of 6.476 at 210.90 in his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro.
This victory marks Anderson's 16th career win in Pomona, making it the second-most in NHRA history, and includes victories in the last two races.
